Whilst some people have been awaiting the launch of the Asus Eee PC 1201N for some weeks now the manufacturer has confirmed that the netbook will be released in the UK in January.

Many people have been awaiting further information about the release of the new offering from Asus for some time now. There have been rumours over the past few weeks with regards to the release date and pricing for the new Asus Eee PC 1201N in the UK, and some people may have been hoping to get their hands on one of these netbooks in time for Christmas.

There is bad news for those that did want to get hold of an Asus Eee PC 1201N in time for Christmas, as the manufacturer has announced that the netbook will not be released early enough. However, it has confirmed that the new Asus offering will be launched in the UK in January, which means that consumers will not have too much longer to wait once Christmas is over.

The pricing has also been released for the Asus Eee PC 1201N, and it is expected to retail at just under four hundred pounds including VAT, which many have said was less than they had been expecting. The new Asus will come with a range of features and facilities, with a 12.1 inch screen, an Intel Atom 330 processor, 3072MB of memory and a 250GB hard drive.

The netbook offers many other features, including the ability to enjoy high end graphics, the ability to run full HD content, Bluetooth, WiFi, and a long battery life.
